Not sure you’ll find a slimmer case than this. The matte finish is comfortable in the hand, and does not show fingerprints much. Of course, a very small portion of the front chrome bezel is left exposed, and it clearly does not provide anywhere near the same level of drop protection as other more bulky cases.

Zune HD 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Black) Review

I purchased this a a present to myself this Christmas. Now, coming from a five year old Creative Vision Zen: M, so I feel there was really no where to go but up.
-This player surpassed my expectations. Great sound and video quality. The internet browser (and keyboard) works very well for a small device such as this. The UI is amazing, there are so many little things it does(like utilizing the accelerometer for background text) that make the experience so great. The apps that it has now are great and work very well with the touch screen. The touch screen takes a little getting used to, you cant be too gentle or it will recognize that as a press, but once you get the hang of it, navigating becomes a breeze.
-Now the gripes, one thing that I liked a lot about my past player was the customizable equalizer. Don’t get me wrong, the presets work very well, but being able to customize to my own taste is an amazing feature. I would like to have been able to record the radio, since you can pause it, I would just assume that you could then save it in your music file. It does not have a voice recorder, when thinking about this, I rarely used it on my last player so not having it is no big deal, just something to note.
–Overall, this player I wonderful. Great for music, videos, as well as internet use. The apps, though few, are quite nice and fun.

I really like the crystal film screen protector that comes with this as well. Very durable, though it does not extend across the entire screen, leaving a mm or two exposed around all the edges. The package contains anti-glare as well. Super easy to apply the static-based protector, absolutely no problems, unlike complaints commonly heard with respect to Invisible Shield-type products that use liquid to assist in the adhesive process.
